On Jaxon's 2nd birthday we went to the fire station and we said we'd go back sometime but never did and we decided we would go for his 4th birthday... but we were in CA... well, we finally dropped in this afternoon and this time they even went for a little ride in the truck!!!

Easter Saturday

The Easter Bunny came last night - the kids were so excited to find their baskets and filled eggs!! Then we headed over to G & G's for lunch, egg dying, and egg hunting... Canyon loves swinging and really just loves to be outside.

My camera shows what's been going on recently... not much! Or I haven't been taking pictures!! We went to the Easter Pageant last night, it was awesome, a couple of the kids.... not so much. I got a new calling as a beehive advisor. The kids are back in school and I am feeling a little guilty with how happy I am that they are. Canyon outgrew the baby tub and took his first bath in the big tub. ummm.... ummmm.... pretty exciting times!

St Patty's Day!

On St. Patrick's Day we sent the kids on a treasure hunt with clues to find a rainbow with a pot of gold! Then we had green pancakes, green pear sauce, and green milk. :) Then we had our traditional green picnic lunch at Fountain Hills to see the green fountain. It was such a nice day, all cloudy and windy! I think the wind caused the fountain to not go as high as it usually does.

It was a Happy St. Patty's Day!!

Spring Break Trip

sooooooo many pictures!! This is only a very small fraction on the pix I took! We left Friday and stayed at a hotel in Carlsbad (Jaxon called it our big house and right when he got back home he was wanting to go back to our big house, don't we all?). Jonas and the 3 old kids went swimming that night. Saturday morning we went to a beach there in Carlsbad. We had a great time! It was also Jaxon's bday. He opened his present - Cars 2 and a firetruck, helicopter set. Then we got lunch, went swimming at the hotel, Canyon's first swim, he liked it! Kyla lost it and needed a nap. So I took Maelie and Jaxon to the Flower Fields, they were pretty cool! The kids had fun getting stamps, riding the tractor, mining for gems, and playing at the playground. Then Jonas, Kyla, and Jaxon went to the store to let Jaxon pick a cake and they got pizza for a bday party. And we had a party at the hotel for Jaxon. Fun times! Sunday we had a lazy morning, gotta love free hotel breakfast. We went to sacrament meeting in Carlsbad. Then we had lunch in our hotel room and then headed to San Diego. We went to the Mormon Batallion site, it was so great! Then we went to the San Diego temple, love that place! Then we came back to the hotel and played games and had dinner. Monday we went to another Carlsbad Beach, it was so quiet, like our own private beach, so nice and fun! Then we got lunch, got changed, and went to the Birch Aquarium, awesome! Then we went to see the seals at the beach nearby. Then we went to BJ's for dinner and had FHE at our hotel room. Tuesday morning we went to Coronado Beach to say goodbye :( and then drove home. It was a great too quick trip!!!
