PUMPKIN CARVING FHE

We had a fun FHE last night!


For dinner we had a jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's!


After lesson, we carved a pumpkin! haha! This is a funny pic! Kyla kept saying "pumpkin" and grabbing it...

BUTTERFLY?!?!?!

So... if you read a previous post on here you would know that Maelie has been changing her mind between a cat and a princess! Well, for our ward trunk or treat on Saturday night, she was a butterfly! It was totally and completely her idea. I thought she looked pretty cute, just wish we had some antennas for her.


Maelie loved going trunk or treating with her "church friends"... this is the Lee family in our ward... she didn't leave them all night! And of course Jonas and Kyla.

They did this cute pose on their own. Kyla was going to be the fuzzy cat costume Maelie wore a couple years ago, but I couldn't find the ears. Well, she loves this costume anyway and she looked cute, too.

BOY!!!!

We got to find out afterall. After a kinda crazy and scary morning in labor and delivery, both our baby BOY and I are doing fine! I guess it was worth the scare to find out he's a boy! Jonas knew all along but I doubted myself.

Maelie has ALWAYS been a cat for halloween!

Last night we went to a carnival for my parent's ward. Maelie is really into princesses and dresses and stuff so I thought she'd wanna be a princess. Well, she has been saying she wants her and Kyla to be cats again (last year my Mom made them these cat costumes) Well, they play in them all the time. Maelie changes her mind just about everyday in between being a princess and a cat. On Monday she wanted to be a princess so we went to Target and got her a dress, Beauty from Beauty and the Beast. She put it on and said, "I don't like it, I wanna be a cat." So last night at the carnival they wore their costumes from last year. They are a little small but they still look cute.

Trick or Treating Halloween 2006

So, we have a ward trunk or treat on Saturday and trick or treating on Wednesday of course. We will see what she decides to be on those days... my Mom made her a beautiful princess cape so I think that might change her mind!

BOY OR GIRL?!?!?!

Ah man! I had my ultrasound today and the baby sure didn't want me to know, the little stinker! His legs were up over his head and crossed and he just wouldn't show us! So in 8 more weeks, we try again! I can't wait to find out! I was pretty bummed!!! But on a better note, the baby is healthy and growing! =)

hahaha! I am the enrichment leader in my ward and have just finished the last enrichment night OF THE YEAR!!! I feel so good to be done! It has been a trying calling for me and it took me all year to actually enjoy one of the enrichment nights I planned. Last night was the best one yet and I actually had fun! It was a service aucition and turned out really well! I better keep my mouth shut or I'm going to get another calling to fill my time! =) Also... yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of the VERY best first date I have EVER had! I am so glad Jonas asked me out because we had sooooo much fun together and well, now we're married!

How long have you been together?our first date was on October 11th, 2002 and we were inseperable after that, so that is 5 years on October 11th.
How long did you date? about 1 1/2 months before we talked marriage, about 2 1/2 months before we were officially engaged, hey, when you know, you know, right?

Who eats more? Jonas can eat a ton without changing his weight, I can also eat a ton...
Who said I love you first? Jonas did. He first played me a song to tell me. Then when I went home for thanksgiving, I wrote in my journal that I loved him too, but couldn't say it until he said it out loud to me, he did on the phone and I said it back then he said he wanted to marry me, I was shocked but very happy.
Who is taller? Jonas by 5 inches, I think it's perfect.
Who sings better? Jonas does, but neither of us are incredibly musical
Who is smarter? Jonas, his ACT was 1 better than mine, he is smarter in math and science, but I edit all his english-type papers, it works out well.
Who does the laundry? I do most of it, but Jonas helps when it's left all over our bed and we have no choice but to fold laundry together.
Who does the dishes?I do most of the time but he helps out when he is around to like on the weekends

My amazing, sweet, mother!

I am so grateful for my mom and for all she has done for me. She is an incredible example to me and I am so glad she is still here with us. She has beat cancer twice in her life and then almost 3 years ago, her heart stopped and she was saved by CPR. She now has a difibrillator in her chest and eventho she doesn't like it, it saved her life yesterday while she was sitting in Sunday School. Her heart stopped yet again and it kicked her back to life. Amazing! I am just so happy that she is still here with us and know that she is supposed to be! I love you, mom!
