life

I feel so blessed! Yesterday we went to the temple for my little brother Trevon's endowments. Jonas and I have been wanting and needing to get to the temple but this has been our first chance since January. We are struggling with some life decisions and just really needed the influence of the holy ghost in our lives as we make important decisions for Jonas' education and for our family. We decided to pray in the parking lot before we went in. We were mostly praying for guidance with our decisions. Jonas asked me to pray and as I was praying I was overwhelmed with the reason we were there that day, to be there for Trevon as he entered the temple. What a special day as the last of my parent's 7 children entered the house of the Lord. I was overcome with such a warm feeling and such happiness for Trevon and for my family. The actual session was awesome. I don't think I've been able to pay that close of attention for a really long time for some reason. I always find myself daydreaming and it was so awesome to pay close attention and learn more from something I have heard countless times. I so love the temple and am so grateful that we have them on the earth today. I am so happy that there will be 2 more temples in Arizona and one in Gilbert. I don't know where I will be when it will be dedicated but Gilbert will always be apart of me and I can't wait to go through that temple someday. We still aren't completely sure about our future but who is right? We are very grateful for the peace we felt yesterday and only hope that we can make the best choice for our family.

Maelie wants to go camping

KYLA

Sibling love

We were having fun making movies last night while Jonas was at EQ pres meetings. I tell ya, this is the first time Jonas has had a calling where he's actually been a way quite a bit and it is hard. I am trying hard to be a supportive wife. :) 5:00 is my favorite time of day because Jonas comes home and not only do I miss HIM but I miss having an adult to talk to. And he also shares in the responsibility of 3 kids! I won't lie, 3 kids are hard!!! Anyway, we made tons of cute videos, Maelie and Kyla were loving it and I am trying to get them all up. There are 2 new ones on the video link to the right as well.

Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson

We went on a little trip to Tucson on Saturday and went to the Air Museum. It was pretty cool but not quite worth the price. We did enjoy getting out and going somewhere "out of town" eventho we really wanted to go to San Diego. :) However, I don't really recommend this museum for kids, there were a few tantrums involved and we got all the looks you get from people without kids enjoying a "quiet" afternoon at a museum.

Maelie and Jaxon - he did awesome by the way
Kyla sitting on a plane - looking soooooooooo excited - HA!

Watch your head!!! - Maelie loved the hands on section and just wanted to play with the toys... they had little toys and stuff for kids while Jonas and I looked around at the planes.

We walked through the Air Force One that 2 of the presidents used (I can't remember who) pretty cool stuff!

So...

I was finally giving the floor a much needed sweep when I looked over to see Kyla feeding Jaxon waffles! aaaahhhh!!! Almost as bad (but not quite) as when I looked over last night during dinner and saw Kyla jump over Jaxon!!! This mother of 3 kids thing sure keeps you on your toes!

Jaxon's 1 month pix

Does anyone else think it's stressful when you go get your kids pix taken? They show you tons and tons of cute pix and you came with this coupon and you just want the one package and it's soooo hard to choose! Well, I only ordered a few of these poses and I am really wanting to order more. There are so many cute ones...

I got this pic (above) but not as a birth announcement

too bad I wasn't ready to be in the pictures :)
This above pic is the one I got for the package
I love this pic (above) and wish I ordered the package for it!

I got the above pic

Anyway, at least I have the smaller versions all saved to my computer and on my blog. Jaxon is such a cutie and we are so happy to have him in our family!

5 hours 45 minutes

(Jaxon's 1st sleep stretch longer than 4 hours last night) Sleep is a beautiful thing... now if we can just go to sleep at the beginning of his longer stretch instead of 2 hours into it!

M-a-e-l-i-e and random pix

I asked Maelie if she could write her name all by herself. She did it! - without looking at my version and without me telling her what was next - way to go Maelie!

This is her copying my version!

Jonas with his 3 little munchkins - the red eye reduction thing turned Jaxon's face all funny colored - whoops

All Smiles

Jaxon has hit his 1 month mark! Yeah, it really feels good to have that first month behind us. He went to a checkup yesterday and got a shot - ooohhh he was mad! But when he got on that scale it sure surprised me! 11 lbs 14 oz! I was shocked he had grown so much - the doctor asked me if I would feed a few more babies... I said 1 was plenty! He has been making little smiles occasionally since he was born - but now we can make him smile!

Baby Shower

My sweet ward threw a combined baby shower for me and a friend in the ward who had a girl the day after me. It was awesome and really nice - they did a great job with way cute decorations and yummy food and a good turnout. Thanks so much for doing that for me - I got lots of great stuff - I feel so spoiled! The pic above is Jaxon with his cute diaper cake that my friend Kristi made!
Maelie even got some presents - she was pretty excited! The girls have been playing with all the tissue paper and the above cake, having birthday parties - it is so cute how they can have fun with the simplest things...

Oh, and I saw my good friend Emily Adamson last night and she has some exciting news... if you know her, ask her to tell you! I wish I had gotten a pic with her. CONGRATULATIONS EM!
