finally! a garden!

We have been talking about a garden for a while now and on Saturday we finally did it!  We started very small but hey, it's a start!  We planted watermelon, zucchini, and 2 kinds of flowers!

if you're wondering where the girls are, they were making little signs, animals, and bugs to decorate the garden,  Kyla was pretty upset when we watered it and got her decorations wet!

Our community had a garage sale last weekend and I wanted an exersaucer for Canyon.  We drove around looking and couldn't find one.  We almost gave up but went to one more area and we found one, yay!!

I buzzed off all his funny baby hair!  He looks so much older and quite a bit different to me!

Thursday was Kyla's kindergarten fairytale night.  She has been looking forward to it all year!  She changed her mind a few times but ended up as Rapunzel!

It was so great to see her cute singing smiling dancing self up there!   She kept waving at us and looked right at us the whole time!  She did awesome!

Jaxon got his bike over a year ago and never wanted to ride it, well, he finally did it and now he loves it!  He has been cruisin' around the kitchen and outside!

Let's Go Fly a Kite

Saturday was a beautiful windy day so we went to a park to fly kites!

 This is my new bike!  I haven't had my own bike since I was a kid, I absolutely love riding it!

Canyon started solids on 4/13 with rice cereal.  He is 5 1/2 months and I was thinking he was ready, this is how he feels about that...

 Jaxon wrote his name!!!  We have been spelling his name to the BINGO song and he has started to spell it and then he wrote it.  This is huge for him because he usually has no interest in writing and before he has claimed that his name is just an X and O.  Way to got Jaxon!!!
