Christmas Day

I have a ton of posts to do but it's probably gonna have to wait until after this weekend. Here we are on Christmas Day before church. My mom made the girls skirts and the boys had ties and everyone looked so cute! I feel bad that we were in a hurry and didn't realize Jonas' head was cut off! We had a great Christmas!

Tuesday night Maelie had a musical theater show. She sang her solo in front of a huge crowd and she did AWESOME!!! This is the only pic I took that night....

Today is the first day of winter break! It was so nice to not have to do the morning rush this morning!

Why did they change blogger again? Anyway... I will just have to type at the top. I am 30! CRAZY!! I feel like I've been in a rut the past 3 years-ish, ever since we left PA! I have gained weight, I don't feel good about myself, but I have a fabulous family. So I am not where I want to be in life turning 30, but all I can hope for is to be better at 31. I had a good birthday. Friday night my parents took us to Tia Rosa's YUM!!! Santa was there and Jaxon got to tell Santa he wanted a firetruck, so cute. Then we went to this house that had tons of trains in their backyard, it was amazing!! Once Jaxon got over the fact that he couldn't play with the trains, and how cool they were to look at, he was loving it and didn't want to leave. My birthday was on Sunday. Jonas and the kids made me breakfast and linner (since church is in the middle of the day we have linner on Sundays:) and a butterfinger cake. I am so lucky! And then we went to my parents and the kids had fun decorating houses. Oh and on Tuesday that week we got to go on a date to Benihana, never been there before, but they give you a $30 gift card for your bday. It was really really yummy!

Blogger is being weird today and won't let me type in the post! Canyon is 7 weeks old and he's still a keeper!!

The tooth fairy finally came! Kyla was so excited!! And last night for FHE we put our gifts to Jesus in his white stocking and had a stocking race and then hung up our stockings!

Canyon's well check

I was 2 weeks late for Canyon's well check but he is 11 pounds 14 ounces! Exactly what Jaxon was at his 1 month well check. So Canyon is smaller and actually taller, he grew 2 inches! Growing good, healthy, and a little stuffed up. He is starting to smile and oh, so sweet. He usually sleeps from 11-3 and then again until 6 or 7 at night. So, not too bad...

baby it's cold outside!!!

YAY!! This refreshing cold in the air has felt awesome! It actually feels like it could snow, maybe we will get lucky!!! Kristin's little guy Holden already outgrew his little Baby's First Christmas Shoes, so Canyon gets them! He looks so cute in them! (thanks Kristin) And here he is before church yesterday, he spit up all over that outfit at the very beginning of sacrament meeting, figures. :) He has been sleeping for about 4 hours at the beginning of the night for the past 4 nights, fingers crossed it sticks!!!

Saturday we put up the Christmas lights!

I am busy (have a million things to do but I am blogging, haha!), and I am tired and I feel a cold coming on, can you take airborne while breastfeeding?, but life is good and we are blessed!

Friday night Maelie performed in her musical theater show as Mrs. Claus! She did a great job and had a lot of fun!
