swimming lessons

The girls have been doing swimming lessons on Saturdays this month. Maelie was an Otter, Kyla was a Duck, and there wasn't an open class for Jaxon... Maelie passed! And Kyla, had fun. :) And the rest of us were HOT!!!

decisions...

Trying to make 2 decisions right now...

Since my last baby was a c section, I am not supposed to go much past 40 weeks. I have a choice to schedule a c section on my due date (Fri Oct 28th) or 40 1/2 weeks (Tues Nov 1st). I am hoping to go into labor on my own before I have to get a c section. I can't get induced unless I have already made progress on my own. Part of me thinks I will be so ready for this baby to come out by my due date and the other part of me thinks it's only 4 more days and that gives me more time to start labor on my own and hopefully have a successful VBAC. hhmmmm....

the other is about Kyla and her therapies... She has occupational therapy right after school on Mondays and speech therapy right after school on Thursdays. Like, I pick them up at school and we race to therapy and barely make it. Part of me realizes this is good for her and I need to take advantage of these therapies because she only gets them until she is 6 in January. Another part feels like Kyla needs as much free time as she can get! And she does like them....

hhmmmm.....

really cute kids =)

picture day for the girls... blue day for Kyla!

the bottom 3 pix are taken by Kyla =)

I had Canyon's ultrasound with the specialist yesterday and his kidneys are barely swollen, at what is considered a normal level, so no worries there. :)

Baby Canyon

I got to see my baby this morning and I love when they turn on the 3D! He is so cute, I want to hold him so bad!!! He has a big head and he does have swollen kidneys, but the dr said not to worry (yeah right). I am going to get another ultrasound done at a specialist to see how bad the swelling is. If the swelling is bad, then I have to deliver at a Level 3 hospital (Banner Desert) where there will be a pediatric urologist to check him out. But.... dr said not to worry because he's not worried, so we shall see. He is about 3 pounds (60th percentile) and he is measuring almost 2 weeks early, so I would LOVE that!!! (not gonna count on it tho) Everything else looks great. All my tests came back awesome and I am totally healthy!

11 more weeks!!!

preschool

I never got a pic of Jaxon on his first day back to preschool because it was a rough day. He's been having a rough couple weeks. Extra clingy, having a hard time leaving both his blanket and his mommy. Today was his happiest and he actually had his back pack on and was ready to go out the door! So I was able to get his pic. Yesterday was semi happy, but he was still clinging on to his blanket! I go to curriculum night in a bit to find out more about his new school, since he switched schools. It's still thru the school district and he still rides the bus.

*gasp* I was not expecting this but both Maelie and Kyla are loving school so far. Kyla hasn't mentioned a word about it being too long. Her teacher says she is so sweet and is really good at following directions. Whose daughter?!?! There has been some awesome storms lately and we have loved them! Too bad it's not cool enough to open the windows!

I am feeling slightly spoiled. Last Wed afternoon during Jaxon's preschool Jonas and I went to see Harry Potter and yesterday afternoon we went to lunch. I volunteered this morning in Kyla's class and am doing that in Maelie's next week. I have time to get my bloodwork done and other fun stuff, kid free! haha! One of these days I'm going to get some material to make Canyon a quilt. But my times next week are already pretty much booked, with getting new glasses, and taking the kids to the dentist, and volunteering. Anyway, that's what we've been up to in a nutshell!
