JAXON
I had an ultrasound today. Jaxon is doing great! He is 3 lbs, 2 oz, 66th percentile. 11 more weeks!

Maelie's christmas dance show
Maelie had her christmas dance show tonight. Here are some pix! She did an AWESOME job!!! (She stood up there and watched everyone!... haha! she didn't dance at all but we think she did great anyway for even standing up there!) Good job Maelie!!!
I got the chicken pox for christmas!
I'd like to get a teddy bear for christmas!

She was really happy afterwards and said she had a lot of fun!
She did the princess walks in, she's in purple... and then you can tell she started to dance, was thinking about it, and then saw ALL those people staring at her! I don't blame her! I showed her the videos and she said, "I didn't do it!" kinda like she didn't even realize that she wasn't dancing! We love you, Maelie, our little princess! =)

Mistie's 26!!!
I had a fabulous birthday yesterday! Thanks to everyone who made it great! Jonas took us to IHOP first thing and for lunch some of my family took me and the girls to Nielsen's. We went to play at a friend's in the afternoon and Jonas got avacado egg rolls from Cheesecake Factory for dinner and we finished off with an icecream cake!
I got a new icecream maker! I'm excited to try it out!!!

Sugar Cube House
It has been a tradition in my family to make sugar cube houses at christmastime. So last night for FHE we made one! It was more like Jonas and I very quickly built a house so that the girls could stick on the christmas light m & m's. It was pretty funny trying to build the roof really fast before it caved in and also before the girls knocked it over from being so anxious to stick the lights on. I am surprised it still hasn't caved in. The girls had a lot of fun eating, I mean decorating a sugar cube house!

My Christmas
1. WRAPPING PAPER OR GIFT BAGS? definitely wrapping paper!!!
2. REAL OR FAKE TREE? I totally love going out in the snow to cut down a tree but sadly haven't done it the last 2 years...
3. WHEN DO YOU PUT UP THE TREE? the day after thanksgiving!
4. WHEN DO YOU TAKE THE TREE DOWN? not really sure, probably after new years
5. DO YOU LIKE EGG NOG? yummy!!!
6. FAVORITE GIFT RECEIVED AS A CHILD? not sure really, trampoline's were always fun!
7. DO YOU HAVE A NATIVITY SCENE? yes we do and my girls play with it ALL the time, we now have both little animals broken, I so need to invest in the Fisher Price nativity scene
8. HARDEST PERSON TO BUY FOR? I think most adults are hard to buy for
9. EASIEST PERSON TO BUY FOR? little kids, there were soooo many things I wanted to get my girls for christmas this year, if we hadn't just gotten into a house and aren't traveling to another country for christmas, they probably would have been spoiled rotten on christmas morning ;)
10. WORST CHRISTMAS GIFT YOU EVER RECEIVED? I think the worst are when they say "happy birthday and merry christmas" - I mean, c'mon it's not my fault I was born close to christmas!
11. MAIL OR EMAIL CHRISTMAS CARDS? I honestly don't care what I receive, and one of these days I'll get into the whole mailing out christmas letters with a family pic included

I love Christmas time!!! Yeah!!!
I love this time of year! Christmas is 3 weeks from tomorrow! Wahoo! Maelie just finished up her last ABC-123 class this morning and she had a cute little program. (I didn't bring the camera!) She had a little parent day for her sports class last week on the last day and I didn't bring my camera then either! Her dance christmas show is in a couple weeks and I will be sure to bring my camera! She has loved all these little classes. We are heading off to Canada for christmas in a few weeks! We are excited to see family and snow and for christmas in general!!! Here are some pix over the last week or 2!
