Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson
We went on a little trip to Tucson on Saturday and went to the Air Museum. It was pretty cool but not quite worth the price. We did enjoy getting out and going somewhere "out of town" eventho we really wanted to go to San Diego. :) However, I don't really recommend this museum for kids, there were a few tantrums involved and we got all the looks you get from people without kids enjoying a "quiet" afternoon at a museum.

So...
I was finally giving the floor a much needed sweep when I looked over to see Kyla feeding Jaxon waffles! aaaahhhh!!! Almost as bad (but not quite) as when I looked over last night during dinner and saw Kyla jump over Jaxon!!! This mother of 3 kids thing sure keeps you on your toes!
Jaxon's 1 month pix
Does anyone else think it's stressful when you go get your kids pix taken? They show you tons and tons of cute pix and you came with this coupon and you just want the one package and it's soooo hard to choose! Well, I only ordered a few of these poses and I am really wanting to order more. There are so many cute ones...
I got this pic (above) but not as a birth announcement
too bad I wasn't ready to be in the pictures :)
This above pic is the one I got for the package
I love this pic (above) and wish I ordered the package for it!

I got the above pic

Anyway, at least I have the smaller versions all saved to my computer and on my blog. Jaxon is such a cutie and we are so happy to have him in our family!

5 hours 45 minutes
(Jaxon's 1st sleep stretch longer than 4 hours last night) Sleep is a beautiful thing... now if we can just go to sleep at the beginning of his longer stretch instead of 2 hours into it!

All Smiles

Jaxon has hit his 1 month mark! Yeah, it really feels good to have that first month behind us. He went to a checkup yesterday and got a shot - ooohhh he was mad! But when he got on that scale it sure surprised me! 11 lbs 14 oz! I was shocked he had grown so much - the doctor asked me if I would feed a few more babies... I said 1 was plenty! He has been making little smiles occasionally since he was born - but now we can make him smile!
Baby Shower
My sweet ward threw a combined baby shower for me and a friend in the ward who had a girl the day after me. It was awesome and really nice - they did a great job with way cute decorations and yummy food and a good turnout. Thanks so much for doing that for me - I got lots of great stuff - I feel so spoiled! The pic above is Jaxon with his cute diaper cake that my friend Kristi made!
Maelie even got some presents - she was pretty excited! The girls have been playing with all the tissue paper and the above cake, having birthday parties - it is so cute how they can have fun with the simplest things...

Lifting, twisting, and bending - the Cheerios got away from me!
Conference is awesome, all of it! I missed cute President Hinckley waving his cane and smiling and just being his happy self... but Pres. Monson is a prophet and his talks were awesome, especially his talk on Sunday afternoon - an amazing man! We can learn so much from these faithful and humble men! Elder Ballard gave my favorite talk yesterday and is probably the same for all young mothers. But this talk came at a time that was really important to me. I cried through most of the talk and felt such I'm not sure what it was... releif, a feeling that I can do this if I just trust in my Heavenly Father. Anyway, it was awesome! I loved how he had the different questions and guidance for mothers, husbands, children, etc. I feel like a better mother today because of the talk. I have been trying to spend more time with Maelie and Kyla. I have been trying to talk to them more and play with them more. Live in the moment! I am always in such a hurry and I multi-task wayyyyy too much, I want to slow down and enjoy life more. Listen, laugh, and play together. I also need to find time for myself. JK, blogging, that's time for myself. But I do need to make sure I am replenished and ready to take care of my family. Whelp, Jaxon is hungry, gotta go! If you missed it go to lds.org and listen to it, it's awesome!
Jaxon at 4 weeks old

Jaxon is 4 weeks old today, I can hardly believe it - time flies! He already looks so big to me - probably because he has grown a lot since he was born! He is a sweetie and we are doing well. He still isn't sleeping much at night, about 3 hours is his max, but there is an occasional 4 hour stretch... I am looking forward to 5, 6, or maybe 8-10!
