Happy St. Patty's Day

Jonas made green clover pancakes today - aren't they cute???

Jaxon's 1st week

Jaxon is 1 week old! We are all doing well. Jonas is working 4 hour days the next 2 weeks so I am at it alone and so far so good. I mean, I am blogging so it must be going well. As of right now all 3 kids are sleeping and I probably should be, too. :)
my brother Jason and neice Brooke came to see Jaxon on Saturday.

1 week!

little sweetheart!

Maelie loves her baby brother. I am surprised with how well the girls have adjusted. She is always saying how cute he is and watching him.
Kyla is also doing good with Jaxon, she is a little more rough and loud so we have to be more careful when she is around him. But she hasn't acted jealous as I thought she would, I mean no more clingy that she always is and we are used to that. =)
such a sweet pic

Jaxon's 1st bath at home, a sponge bath since he still has his umbilical cord. He liked it for the most part.

sleeping in his 2nd favorite place to be - his first is eating.

all clean after bath

the scrubber thing - washing his hair - he liked that

"Thank you for blogging."

This is what Jonas said to me this morning! And I can say that I am grateful I blog as well. Why?... Last weekend our computer was having issues so Jonas decided to erase the entire computer and start over. Well, we had most of our pix and videos and other important things already saved to cd. EXCEPT for a folder containing Jaxon's birth pix and videos as well as Kyla's 2nd bday pix. So I told him as long as we were sure we got that folder saved to cd then go ahead. Well, he spent some time saving pix and then this morning, after he had wiped out the computer, he was looking for this particular cd so that he could put a pic from it on the desktop and can you beleive that he couldn't find that CD?!?!?! Well, I had a rough night last night. Jaxon is having a growth spurt and I am in the sore stage of nursing. So, when he told me a bit of my baby blues took over and I was pretty upset about it. ANYWAY, thankfully it turned out that when you click on the pix on blogs, it makes them to their normal size so I was atleast able to save all the photos I had blogged back onto our computer. So Jonas said, and I agree, "Thank you for blogging!" I do understand what he was going through because I accidentally erased Maelie's 1st birthday party pix and was so devastated! I love digital cameras but we all sure need to be better about getting them on hardcopy or some sort of copy, like blogs!

beautiful flowers from my awesome hubby!

right after the c-section, which was actually a pretty cool experience, it was very fast, the worst part for me was getting the spinal block... I was so worried that I would feel pain, well it felt like they were just barely touching me with their finger tips and the dr showed me the little pinchers that they were jabbing me with - amazing! after I recovered from that and Jonas came in, I was fine. I could feel what they were doing which was REALLY strange but it didn't hurt and before too long I saw my baby! It was awesome!
I am so happy it's all over - and now for recovery! Jaxon is such a sweet and beautiful angel. I am so grateful for him, he is an incredible blessing and miracle.

Monday!!!

Well, we just got the ultrasound and he is breech so we are getting the c-section on Monday! I am wishing we could have done it earlier but if I want the dr I have been seeing, it will be on Monday. Of course, if I go into labor before then, then it will be with whoever is on call. So, 3 more days of pregnancy!!! 3 more days until we get to hold our cute active little boy!!! Oh, and he is predicted to be 9 pounds, give or take a pound, ahhhhh!!! Maybe it is good that he will be c-section!

JAXON?!?!?!?!

Jaxon is breech! He has been head down all this time and now he has flipped! I didn't think there was any room in there for him to flip! I have an ultrasound tomorrow to confirm it and then if he is, I get a c-section scheduled for next week. It is too late for the dr to flip him and the chances of him flipping back aren't too great. And if I go into labor before my scheduled c-section and if he is still breech then I get a c-section. I have regressed in dilation since his head isn't pushing down anymore which was quite discouraging. I am having a really hard time with this, let me tell you. The feeling of giving birth is amazing... all that pain and then a beautiful baby! I am also having a hard time with the thought that probably my future deliveries will be by c-section. So, I could definitely use any positive c -section experiences... anyone??? Jonas just gave me a blessing and it was a great comfort to me. I am so grateful for the preisthood as well as modern technology because I know the c-section will save Jaxon and I. Anyway, that is where we are at, most likely pregnant for another week with hope that Jaxon will turn back on his own and I will go into labor AFTER that! But most likely, I will be getting a c-section sometime next week.

Chase Robert Pyne - a new nephew!

Jonas' sister Lorinda's family have welcomed a new little addition to their family! They have adopted a little boy - Chase, he was born on February 27th and is 7 lbs and 1 oz and healthy. He has cleft pallet and the doctors say everything is surgically correctible. Congratulations!!! We are excited for the new addition and excited that Jaxon will have a cousin so close in age!!!

Life is good - eventho I'm impatient!

What an awesome weekend! Thursday was a great relaxing V-day. My wonderful mother came over at lunch time to be with the girls so Jonas and I could go to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and it was such a nice lunch, very relaxing and yummy! Can I just say avacado egg rolls,

bang bang chicken and shrimp, and strawberry cheesecake?

And we took a long relaxing lunch instead of feeling rushed and just talked and I have the best husband EVER! I love him to pieces! And then Jonas had Friday and Monday off so we had a 4 day weekend and we didn't do anything too amazing but that is what made it SO great! We just spent time together as a family and got some last minute things for Jaxon. Speaking of Jaxon,

come out come out wherever you are!!! I am feeling incredibly ready now that he is considered full term! I am trying to stay distracted and not think of it too much but I feel so huge and am so ready to get my body back and to hold my sweet little baby! We're ready for you buddy, come on out and play!!!
